Diplomats involved in Mombasa road accident that occurred on Tuesday evening are currently being treated from Machakos Level 5 hospital in Machakos county.
The three envoys Brenda Mudenda who is Zambia Ambassador to Kenya, Duke Lehoko who is Botswana Ambassador to Kenya and Kama Wasa who is a Zambian diplomat, they were reportedly heading to Nairobi after holding a meeting at Maanzoni lodge in Machakos county.
The accident involved a trailer and two vehicles that were ferrying the envoys who were traveling from Maanzoni in Machakos county on their way back to Nairobi. This was after the car transporting the Zambian envoy collided with a trailer. The vehicle then hit the third car carrying the Botswana diplomat. Their drivers sustained minor injuries.
