Airtel Kenya revamps its services to these 40 towns

Airtel Kenya on Tuesday announced the roll out of new 3G and 4G sites in over forty towns across the country.

Airtel Kenya CEO Prasanta Das Sarma stated that the launch of the 800 sites, was aimed to enhance the quality of their product and services.

“Airtel is committed to constantly innovate and improve on the quality of its products and services as an active competitor in the Kenyan market.

“As such, we are delighted to be increasing our 4G sites across the country.

“The expansion of our network coverage will ensure that majority of the urban population are well covered,” remarked Sarma.

The approach by the mobile giant will enable customers to enjoy better and faster connectivity for the wide range of data products such as Amazing data bundles, Unliminet, Tubonge and the 2bob tariff.

The new distribution will target towns such as Kisumu, Nyeri, Meru, Nakuru, Bungoma, Lamu and Garissa among others.

Launch of Airtel 4G in Kenya

The telecommunication company joined the 4G fray in order to keep up with its other competitor Safaricom who had launched the service in February the same year.

The new network service was set to ensure that the provider delivered a new experience through greater connectivity speeds, faster browsing speeds and a high level of improved network responsiveness.
