Imagine the level of chaos and complain Wilson Sossion would cause if teachers would be moved the way police officers are witnessing a reshuffle lately in the last days of Boinnet’s tenure in office?

Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet, on Tuesday, once again made changes to the National Police Service.

The IG transferred 322 OCPDs countrywide in reshuffle that was meant to take effect immediately.

He further revealed that the move was aimed at improving security across the country.

This comes merely days after Boinnet, through his deputy Njoroge Mbugua, on Wednesday last week, ordered the immediate transfer of all 43 police officers from Shauri Moyo station

Reports indicated that the transfers came after public outrage over alleged harassment and extortion incidents by the officers at the station.

Besides, there had reportedly been an upsurge in criminal activities within the Shauri Moyo Police Station’s jurisdiction.

The officers were required to report to their new stations by February 27 and their bosses required to file back reports on their arrivals and departures.
