Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has shared his commitment to make sure that land grabbers are dealt with in accordance to the law.
This comes after a notorious land grabber based in Kiambu county was exposed by the mainstream media.
Sonko says that the land grabber was initially a tycoon in the Nairobi County and was linked to land grabbing incidents before he shifted to Kiambu.
The Nairobi Governor said that he would mention his name but he describes him as part of the ‘ untouchable’
Through his selfish acts of grabbing land, Sonko mentioned that he
displaced thousands of Nairobians by demolishing their legally and innocently acquired houses.
” The same tycoon who had grabbed a public parking of Nairobi county, a public bus stage, a public county toilet and a section of Nairobi fire station land and illegally constructed a 5 star hotel has shifted base to Kiambu county where he has allegedly grabbed a public road leading to a public school King’othua Primary School in Karuri. ‘ he says in his post
