The 18 year-old midfielder has been a key figure in our under-18s side this season, making 19 appearances and scoring four goals, while also providing 10 assists.
He has also featured six times for our under-23s in the Premier League 2 this term.
Harlow-born Matthew is a Hale End graduate.
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Matthew on his new contract and we look forward to his continued development.
The midfielder has now signed pro terms with the club, but he’s not about to rest on his laurels as he looks to continue his development.
He disclosed that he wants to get some more goals and assists in the under-18 league and then get some more appearances for the under-23s. Overall, as a team, I’d say our ambition this season is to win the under-18s league.
