How businesses are being run by fake 1st lady of Kenya

Crime in Kenya has not only risen to an alarming extent but is also affecting all despite command or position in the state.

Many officials including the Deputy president’s wife Rachel have reported to being victims in fraud plays aimed at ordinary citizens.

The recent victim has shockingly turned out to be the first lady Margaret Kenyatta.

Impersonators are reportedly fake facebook accounts under her name to run projects purportedly empowering the youth, businesses or fighting poverty.

The parody accounts are used to do fake businesses. For example, one of the accounts is running motorcycle and tuk-tuk projects to create employment opportunities for the youth

when unsuspecting clients call to request for the motorbikes, they are required to pay Ksh3,500 as ‘logbook transfer fee’

They are also assured that ‘Mheshimiwa’ knows their case and the place they should pick the logbook.

State House Director of Digital, Innovations & Diaspora Communications, Dennis Itumbi, refuted claims the First Lady was running such activities.
