Inside Ruto’s New Advisory Team Crafting a Well-Knit Strategy as he Rebrands Himself for 2022.

What is Deputy President William Ruto’s game plan heading into 2022? Well, Ruto is a man whose Presidential bid seem to be facing a lot of challenges as lots of allegations keep being labelled against him.

Topping the list of allegations against Ruto are those of corruption. Ruto has a huge task of clearing his name from the many scandals he has ben linked with, the latest one being the Weston Hotel Land Saga.

With all these in mind, it is clearly eveident that Ruto needs a watertight game plan to help him pull through the 2022 Political storm.

The DP has not yet revealed his game plan for obvious reasons, to keep his competitors in the dark.

Ruto’s lieutenants including Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot and Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei have also remained tight-lipped about the DP’s game plan.

Even at that, the DP has been silently laying down strategies he believe will finally pay off. The DP has expanded his advisory team and is crafting a well-knit strategy as he rebrands himself for 2022.

The latest entrants to the DP’s inner circle are Council of Governors chairman and ODM deputy leader Wycliffe Oparanya, Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana and and former Cabinet minister and long-serving Tinderet MP Henry Kosgey.

Others include former Bomet Governor Issac Rutto, who was the DP’s critic until he lost his seat in 2017. He was a close ally of ODM’s Raila Odinga, later Wip leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar.

The DP decided to bring new advisers onboard because he is said to believe some young advisers are naive.
