Duchess of Sussex, ahead of her first child’s arrival in April will be hosting her baby shower in New York.
Meghan Markle landed in New York on Friday February 15.
The invites-only party will take place at a hotel on the Upper East Side.
Markle’s best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney will be coordinating the shower on Tuesday. There will be 15 guests.
Speaking to The Sun, expert Victoria Arbert stated that baby showers are outside the norm of the royal family.
“A lavish baby shower would be seen as highly inappropriate. There’s nothing they can’t go out and buy themselves,” she explained.
Perhaps this explains why Markle chose to have the baby shower privately with a limited guest list that consists only of her inner circle.
It is however unclear whether she will be hosting another baby shower in UK.
