The phrase, ‘Ruto will never be president’ has gathered pace in recent times. Enemies of the Deputy President are hell bend on ensuring that the hustler’s child does not arise to State House.
Most of these haters have no reason whatsoever on why they don’t want Ruto to be President. Unfortunately, controversial lawyer Professor Makau Mutua has joined that anti-Ruto bandwagon.
Mutua has advised the Kalenjin community to look for another candidate in 2022 because putting their eggs in Ruto’s basket is tantamount to losing.

His tweet has elicited different reactions from KoT. Most people have however said that Mutua is trying to build Ruto with his constant and unfounded attacks.
