The ‘Men’s Conference’ is a non-existent three-day event created by men world over, especially in Africa, as a plot to escape their partners and responsibilities of Valentine’s Day.
The event was so well choreographed that even a program was released; complete with a Masters of Ceremony (M.C), Keynote speakers and agenda for the entire three days.
However many have taken to twitter to highlight the seriously sensitive issues that men indeed if the conference were real should be talking about.
Among them are child support which many deadbeat dads in existence are notoriously escaping from but is vital for theboth the child and the mother who don’t deserve to be struggling solo.
The others have been identified as misogyny, sexism in the work place, dismantling patriarchy, women and child abuse.

This Mens Conference has made me aware of the power of social media. How I wish as men we could be this united and influence one another to just stop abusing women and to support our kids. If men can make such an imaginary conference go viral, imagine what would— Food For Thought ? (@Kgosi_Admire) February 14, 2019
What men need to talk about at a #MenConference2019 is:
Dismantling patriarchy
Misogyny
Sexism in the workplace
Homophobia
Women & child abuse
Violence https://t.co/QXQotrHNoj— Busi Mkhumbuzi Pooe (@BusiMkhumbuzi) February 14, 2019
#MenConference2019 Gents, yesterday no one pitched for the Active Fatherhood and Child Maintenance Session. We decided to move the session for this morning 10h00. Please pitch since these are important issues we need to deal with

Today at Men’s Conference we will be dealing with the issue of Rape. The aim is to make sure that men stop raping our Sisters and Mothers. We want every men here to pledge that “No! means No!” and a men who rapes is weak and don’t deserve being one of us.

I want to disassociate myself with the ongoing #MenConference2019 . The conference is made up of lazy deadbeats, MIA dads, and f&@k boys who can’t treat their women right. Washenzi sana!
