Toyota is set to release a new shape for its top selling Hiace. The new HiAce will replace the old models that have been is production since 2004. The local name for the current Hiace is ‘box’ Kenyans love their speed and comfort.
The new model that will be released in 2020 has a an elongated nose that might be a top spec for speed and aerodynamics.
Apart from the face look, the new hiace will have some other changes such as engine as it will be fitted with a V6 engine.
The model will also pick the 2.8-litre diesel engine from the Japan model of Toyota Hilux. The engine also has a 3.5-litre petrol option.
The elongated nose acts as a safety feature from a crash impact where it places the legs of the drivers farther from reach.
