It is barely a month since the bloody terror attack at 14 Riverside Drive in which at least 21 innocent people were gunned down by Al Shabaab terrorists.
Investigations into the attack have revealed that the mastermind was a certain Violet Kemunto, a woman who reffered to herself as an Al shabaab bride. Violet plotted the whole attack from her 40k per month apartment in Mucatha Estate in Kiambu.
But it has now emerged that the woman who has since gone missing is not the only Al Shabaab bride in the country. Al Shabaab brides are dangerous women who have been radicalized and keep the men in check. They make sure you are mentally ok when going to bomb yourself.
Now another disturbing confession from an Al Shabaab bride has revealed how these women might have infiltrated the KDF. A woman has confessed about how she fell in love with a soldier after being rescued from a terror cell in Somalia.
In an interview with the Standard, the woman, Fatuma narrated how the soldier (name withheld) was part of a contingent that attacked the militants camp and kidnapped her – a move she stated, saved her life.
Fatuma was later taken to a house in Garissa town. The soldier then locked her inside his house assuring her of her safety.
“He used to visit me in the house. He told me about his life and eventually, we became close and he proposed to make me his wife. I had nothing to live for. I knew if I went back home I’d be dead,” she stated.
The story however turns tragic after the soldier died from HIV in 2017. Even though the woman says she does not know if she is the one who infected him, we both know that Al Shabaab don’t use condoms.
