For a moment i thought that the era of rogue police is over. No i lied to myself maybe. But have you ever asked yourself why the police from no where just turn out to be rogue to passengers or citizens?
Maybe their is a reason behind this, but professionally i just beg to differ. It is absolutely outlawed. But why has it been carried on for this long.
Last year the incidences of citizens harassing traffic police was rampant. It ignited the debate whether they should be armed. Do you think traffic police should be armed?
That is a topic of discussion for another day.
In a rare video recorded by Team Shaffi and posted on Twitter , it shows a group of police harrassing a woman who proves difficult to chain. A group of police are trying to force her out of a matatu.
The reason for the struggles and her being harassed have not been established.
Most people may say that the police are acting in accordance with the new traffic rules set by CS Fred Matiang’i.But it is against the law for such action.
