February is here and The Coke Studio 2019 is about to get on your screens.
A show that is a favorite to many and will capture moments of the best African acts who have made it on top of the charts and served as pillars in the entertainment industry.
The new season will be aired on the East African Best Media House Citizen Tv scheduled for Sunday 9th February from 8 PM.
Some of the artists who were featured include WCB Harmonize, RudeBoy, CasperNyovest, Mr Eazi, Nandy, Nadia Mukami and Naiboi among others.
The top artists that are representing Kenya is Nadia and the two in one hit maker Naiboi.
Some of them are already hyping the show and have shared their excitement to be part of it all.
For Naiboi, he says that being on that platform is such a big deal for him and for the only female artist representing Kenya, Nadia Mukami says that it was such a good experience to work with other top artists.
Coke studio is all about bringing artists from different parts of the African Continent. It is also a non-competitive music collaboration show, which seeks to bring together, and celebrate the diversity of African music and talent.
According to the Coke Studio Website, Coke Studio Africa Project Manager: Andrew Endovo Alovi says, “We are excited to soon kick start the production of Coke Studio Africa 2019—expect an interesting twist of themes and musical fusions! The show has always been at the forefront of producing quality music while at the same time granting various artists across the continent mega exposure, and opportunities to collaborate among each other. They also get to work with some of the best local and international professionals in the music world.”
