Gospel Artist Bahati Speaks on his club photos that went viral

Gospel Artist Bahati has opened up about the photo that went viral on social media a couple weeks ago.

The Singer received criticism for performing in a club and posing in a photo with ladies who were half naked.

Kenyans raised brows asking why gospel artists find it so easy to perform in  clubs in the name of spreading the word of God.

Some even wondered why they do not spread that word when the  people are sober and  in a ‘ holy’ environment.

Speaking on live Tv, Bahati said that the photos were from  a performance he did 6 months ago and according to him, he loves all his fans equally.

He also added that he is not holier than thou and while he is performing, he has no control over what happen around him.

Bahati said that there was no possible way for him to say no to taking  photo or demand that the ladies who were dressed in a compromising way to be kept away from the photo.

The Singer also added that the ladies are created in God’s image and despite the controversy he did not see the reason why he should be apologetic.

Bahati also said that even after he saw the picture he could not judge no matter how people were talking about it.

The Singer also says that his mode of ministering does not involve force but he believes that people should preach through their lifestyle and action.

Bahati also added that he sees no point in pretending since  you will miss out on inspiring lives of others.

The artists feels the need of being  open about mistakes so that others may learn from that.
