Three reasons why Arsenal will beat Manchester City on Sunday

Arsenal travel to the city of Manchester to face a wounded Manchester City side who will be desparate for three  points to keep their hopes of retaining the English Premier League title alive. It is a game that not many people expect Arsenal to gain anything from esecially when you consider the Gunners defensive crisis. Nonetheless, I expect Arsenal to show some fight and come out with all three points at the Etihad on Sunday. Here are three reasons why Arsenalwill beat Manchester City…

Fierry Gunners strike force.

Alexander Lacazette and Gabon star Pierre Aubameyang are two strikers any team in the world would die for! The two have been scoring goals for fun since they arrived at the club and each scored in Arsenal’s last match agains Cardiff on Wednesday. Manchester City’s defence has looked suspect this season and this was no more evident than in the 2-1 loss to Newcastle last time out. If Arsenal get the ball to their two strikers, the City defence will panic and could lead to a couple of errors which Arsenal’s frontline is well stocked to capitalize on.

The Unai Emery factor

What a tactician this guy is turning out to be! In games against the top six this season, Unai Emery has got his team well prepared and not once this season have they looked as miserable tactically as they did in the Arsene Wenger years(Anfield aside). Unai Emery sets up his team not only to play their football but to also nullify the opponents strenghts. Aaron Ramsey’s role in sticking close to Jorginho during the 2-0 win over Chelsea the perfect example. The fomer PSG manager always has a plan, or 2,maybe 3 and I see him being no different on Sunday.Besides, he will desparate to get a first win away against a top side, and City away is his best chance.

Dennis Suarez

Arsenal’s new signing is a former Manchester City player. Though he left the club as a youngster, he is now all mature and ready to show his former employers what they are missing. Suarez’s best season came when he was under Unai Emery at Sevilla. The re union is bound to get the best out of him once more and there’s no better place to start than against the reigning Champions, at their backyard. Be it an assist, a good performnce or a goal, Dennis Suarez will be eager to impress, which he will do.

Prediction Manchester City 1-Arsenal 3
