Here are the clubs Cahill turned down to stay at Chelsea

Gary Cahill has turned down a potential move to three clubs to remain at Chelsea.

Among the clubs interested in his services were Juventus, AS Monaco and Fulham but Cahill has opted to remain with the west London club despite falling down the pecking order.

As reported by Sky Sports, the Blues were prepared to allow the defender to leave in January having made only seven appearances this season.

It is reported that Fulham had agreed a deal for a permanent transfer retired England international but he failed to agree personal terms with the Cottagers.

He also turned down potential moves to Juventus and Monaco in a bid to continue fighting for his place under Maurizio Sarri.

The 33-year-old’s contract with the Blues is due to expire at the end of the season.
