Gospel artist DK Kwenye Beat has been trending for the last 24hours after a 20 year old girl confessed that he and Hope Kid had sex with her and eventually she contracted herpes.
Dk’s fiancée Shanice Wangechi has reacted to news by reposting his fiance’s apology which has been interpreted by some as endorsing his apology. She has also turned off comments for that re-post on Instagram to ward off strong reactions from fans.
DK had earlier posted an apology note on his instagram saying, I am not a perfect man. I am a fallen man but one that God is working on every day. I am a changed man from what I was back then. I am working my salvation with fear and trembling. Sadly this story has come out when I am on my way to complete reformation. My prayer is that one day my ugly past will amount to an amazing testimony of God’s grace and redeeming power! For now, I am walking with Godly counsel as I seek to become the true man and minister of the gospel that God created me to be.”
DK and Shanice have been dating for a while now and were set to get married in December 2018 but the wedding did not materialize.
“We have had a successful relationship over the years, made plans, helped each other out and are now ready to take it to the next level,” the singer told Pulse Magazine.
He also expressed that he was happy he and Shanice were from different industries as she brought a different perspective to their relationship.
