Warrant of arrest issued against MP Keter after he failed to attend court session

Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi has issued a warrant of arrest against Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter after he failed to appear in court for mention.

Keter was scheduled to appear in court for for pre-trial hearing of the Ksh.633 million Treasury Bond forgery case alongside two others, businessmen Arthur Sakwa and Madat Saburali.

Today’s case was to confirm whether exhibits and other documents the prosecution intends to rely on the case have been supplied to the defence.

Chief magistrate Francis Andayi issued the warrant on Thursday.

Keter is charged alongside two co-directors of Desai Industries – Madat Chatur and Arthur Sakwa. Their case will be mentioned on February 14.
