President Kenyatta Joins Fellow Leaders & Music lovers Worldwide in Mourning James Ingram

President Uhuru Kenyatta has this afternoon joined the world in mourning the death of RnB star James Ingram.

Ingram, a Grammy Award winner  died at the age of 66, according to multiple outlets. Multiple reports show that the talented singer had  brain cancer.

Ingram’s close friend Debbie Allen posted about the loss on Twitter. “I have lost my dearest friend and creative partner James Ingram to the Celestial Choir,” she wrote. “He will always be cherished, loved and remembered for his genius, his love of family and his humanity. I am blessed to have been so close. We will forever speak his name.”

Back home, while mourning Ingram, President Kenyatta referred to Ingram as a true gift from God especially for those who love and enjoy RnB Music.

Kenyatta spoke highly of the singers golden voice while going on to point out that his music will last forever despite passing on.

“I’m saddened by the news of the death of James Ingram. He was a true gift from God to the world, especially to those of us who love & enjoy Rn’B music. He had an amazing voice & his music will remain a lasting reminder of the great musician he was. May God rest his soul in peace,” said President Kenyatta.
