Manchester United boss speaks on Fellaini-China links

Following reports linking Marouane Fellaini with a move to China, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failed to provide an update on the Belgian’s transfer.

Reports claim that Manchester United have held talks with Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng Taishan, who are set to sign Fellaini in a deal worth at least £7million. Fellaini has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford with the take over of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager and has only featured twice as a substitute.

Speaking after the 2-2 draw against Burnley, Solskjaer revealed that his attentions were not focused on the transfer activities of the club, “To be honest, no. I’ve been busy all day, so I don’t know the latest update on that one so just wait and see.” Fellaini is currently sidelined with a calf injury and wasn’t included in the squad that faced Burnley.
