Chelsea makes a shocking comment on Hazard transfer

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted that Eden Hazard should be allowed to leave the club if he desires to depart from Stamford Bridge.

Hazard has been consistently been linked with a move to Real Madrid with the Spanish giants seeking to strengthen their squad after dismal performances this season. Chelsea want Hazard to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge but it remains to be seen what will happen over the next few months given he is now in the final 18-months of his deal.

Speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the Bournemouth clash, Sarri revealed that Chelsea should cash in on Hazard if he desires to leave, “Eden is 28. If he wants to go, I think he has to go. Of course, I hope the opposite. I hope he wants to stay here. He has the potential to be the best player in Europe at the moment. Sometimes he’s happy with something less. It’s my job to improve him and put him in a position to do his best.”
