‘He Has Everything, Probably Even More’ Man City Fans beg Pep To Sign Wolves Star

The midfielder has made an impressive step-up to Premier League level and has gained plenty of admirers with his creative endeavours as a deep-lying midfielder.

City fans see Neves as the perfect competition and indeed replacement for 33-year-old Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho.

Neves starred as Wolves beat Leicester 4-3 in a thrilling contest at Molineux on Saturday afternoon, and City fans were duly impressed with the 21-year-old’s contribution.

This is what the Man City fans have been saying:

Leander Dendoncker has revealed he considered quitting Wolverhampton Wanderers.

In a revealing interview with Belgian media, the defensive midfielder has opened up on his “difficult” start to life at Molineux after signing on loan from Anderlecht in the summer.

What’s happening at Wolves?
Dendoncker found opportunities elusive following his season-long loan move from Anderlecht, the 23-year-old restricted to just two Carabao Cup appearances in the first four months of the campaign.

“The start was very difficult,” he told HLN. “But the last weeks are going better.

“(You) recharge yourself again to train harder the next day than the players who were in the team selection, then you start thinking about a departure automatically.

“I did not come here for this, I thought, I tried to get ready for the moment that I would have my chance.”

But with Nuno Espirito Santo having tweaked his formation to play with two forward players instead of three, Dendoncker has been handed his chance in midfield.

He waited until December 5 to feature for the first time in the Premier League – and then until the end of the month for a full league debut.

It’s now three consecutive starts for the Belgium international, including the dramatic 4-3 victory over Leicester City on Saturday.

Dendoncker said: “It’s good that I’m finally part of the group, of the team.”
