The Kenyan education system is one of the most demanding education systems in the world with teachers always being so hard on students as they also face pressure to record pleasant results.
Other teachers have however often gone extreme to the extent of punishing students in an improper manner while some have gone to an extent of even expelling them.
Some teachers are also known for cursing students with promises to them that they will not amount to anything important in life.
One person that was apparently expelled and cursed is veteran club and street deejay, Dj Kalonje.
The mix-master has in an instagram post shared the picture of his former headmaster at Meru School who expelled him just after he had completed paying fees.
“Meet mr Kariuki. The former headmaster of Meru School who expelled me immediately I had finished paying my school fees. Kuuza kiti. He also told me that I won’t even amount to be watchman. ???Ya Mungu ni mengi. Nobody can stop reggea ?,” posted Kalonje.
Deejay Kalonje has since grown to become one of the most celebrated deejays in Africa having also bagged an Afrimma awards nomination and won multiple awards including the Chaguo la Teeniez awards, Stylus awards, Nganya and Nyota Awards.
His star is surely shining and this should therefore serve as a lesson to all the people that feel discouraged in life that the end always justifies the means.
