ODM leader Raila Odinga is ardent football fan, this has been evident in his past rallies where he has thrilled his fans with superb commentary which is second to none.

Gor Mahia
Locally Baba supports the most successful club in Kenya, Gor Mahia. He is their patron at the moment and he spares his time off his busy schedule to be with the team. Baba has been ever present in the clubs historic Kenya Premier League wins and during the historic visit to Merseyside where they played Everton.
Harambee Stars
Raila also follows closely the Kenya National Team Harambee Stars. He makes frequent visits to stadiums to watch play. Though he missed the win over Ethiopia, he was three as Stars beat Ghana at Moi Kasarani Stadium and also witness Harambee Stars beat Rwanda in CECAFA opener at Bukhungu Stadium.
He believes Kenya has the best talents in Africa and should them well to be able to compete with other sides.
Arsenal
In the English Premier League, Raila supports Arsenal. Since joining the long list of Arsenal supporters he has never thought of quitting.
Germany
Before the 2018 World Cup in Russia he declared that “Everybody knows that I support Germany. I am half German. I lived there for a long time and I have an obligation to be loyal to the team.”
