Manchester United boss reveals transfer plans

Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed he doesn’t expect the club to be active during the January transfer window.

Solskjaer was addressing the media on Friday where he revealed he would meet Ed Woodward this month to discuss the club’s transfer plans.

“‘I don’t expect anyone to come in,” said the caretaker manager.

“Obviously, if the club have targeted and identified a few and I think they might fit here then I’ll give my thumbs up. But it’s not just my decision. I’m happy with the squad I’ve got,” he added.

Since the arrival of Solskjaer, the club has beaten Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Bournemouth and Newcastle United to make up ground on the Premier League top four.
