Nairobi Governor had on Tuesday, December 25, the real definition of ‘when the cat is away the mice will play’ as he partied had to his home after his family left for the Christmas holidays.

The governor had invited a crowd of people to his home at Mua hills in Machakos County where they had time to spoil themselves after a whole year of work.

While recording the events live on his Facebook Page, the governor joined his friends on the dance floor where they at least tried to outdo each other with their Kamba dancing skill. We all know the Akamba people are agriculturalist but most of all are music and dance-loving people and Sonko together with his team brought this to life.

In the video is seen doing something close to the 80’s popular dance moves ‘break dance’ while vigorously shaking his feet, a common scenario with the Kamba dance.

His dance mates join in the dance while holding their heads as they dance to a Kamba tune playing in the background. Not to forget the governor was also the Deejay where he would occasionally leave the dance the floor to go add some pomp in the music. “Merry Christmas my people.

Lest us enjoy but let us also share with the less fortunate in the society. Do not drink and drive tonight, stay safe out there. Nairobi City remains the City of choice to Invest, Work and Live in,” he was keen to remind people.
