After leaving Barcelona back in 2017, Arthur Melo has revealed that he is ‘praying’ for Neymar’s return back to the Catalan based club.
There have been speculations of Neymar being unsettled at Paris Saint Germain since making the World Record move of €222M and he has been linked with a return to Spain. The Brazilian has been linked with Real Madrid while his former club Barcelona have also been reported to be monitoring the situation.
Arthur who has been a revelation since joining Barcelona from Brazilian club Gremio is praying for Neymar’s return to the Spanish giants, “I personally am praying for him to come because he is a superstar, it is indisputable. I think that the more great players the team has, the better.
The Brazilian midfielder also added that he has been trying to convince Neymar to return to Barcelona, “Personally, I’m doing a lot of work to get him back, but he has his life, he knows what he’s doing and I do not know how deep those negotiations are, if there are options for him to come or not.
“But he is a personal friend and a professional that I admire a lot and would be very happy if he could come back here.”
