CJ Maraga has continued to receive goodwill messages from various quarters of the country with many wishing him a quick recovery.
The CJ has now decided to reciprocate the outpouring love and has sent a message of appreciation to all concerned parties that have shown love to him.
The CJ’s vehicle was said to have collided with another vehicle with the driver of the said vehicle who has been identified as Mr.Kigen sustaining serious injuries than the CJ and his wife.
Maraga has now offered to do anything he can to assist with the driver’s treatment.
The Inspector General of Police has this morning assured me that Mr. Kigen, the driver of the other vehicle who suffered more serious injuries than we did is in a stable condition. We’re praying for him and we will do anything we can to assist with his treatment,” said Maraga.
Maraga has thanked President for ordering his evacuation to Nairobi for comprehensive medical attention.
He has also thanked Raila Odinga for visiting him and praying with him.
The CJ and his wife were yesterday involved in a road accident but were lucky to survive having only sustained minor head injuries.
Maraga was rushed to War Memorial Hospital Nakuru after the accident.
Yesterday, the CJ issued a statement to the general public with the CJ confirming that him alongside his wife, their driver and aide were all okay.
Maraga thanked Kenyans for their prayers and concern.
“My wife and I were involved in an accident in Nakuru this morning on our way to Church. We are undergoing medical observation. My driver and aide who were with us are also okay. We thank God for His mercies. Thank you Kenyans for your prayers and concern,” said the CJ.
