Should Miguna Miguna return to the country immediately?
It was a lucky Friday for Miguna Miguna as the High Court awarded the lawyer Sh7 million as compensation for the violation of his rights during his deportation to Canada. In the ruling on Friday, Judge Enoch Chacha Mwita said Mr Miguna’s deportation was unlawful and in violation of the Constitution.
The judge also stated that the cancellation of Miguna Miguna’s passport was unconstitutional. The judge declared this decision null and noted that if the lawyer had to be sent away, the process should have been carried out in line with the Fair Administrative Act.
Justice Chacha Mwita has restated what I've maintained throughout: That the despots violated my fundamental rights, freedom and dignity and that I'm a Kenyan and never lost my citizenship. Thanks Dr. Khaminwa, @waikwawanyoike, @kamandamucheke, @NelsonHavi and other lawyers.

The judgement was largely celebrated by many Kenyans online as Kenyans explained their position on the matter some asked him to make arrangements and return to Kenya immediately.
