Chelsea star Eden Hazard has once again hinted at leaving the club after revealing talks over a new contract has hit a brick wall.
Hazard has been linked with a move away from the Stamford Bridge with Real Madrid keeping tabs on the superstar.
The Belgian has enjoyed a fine 2018/19 season under Maurizio Sarri who has already convinced likes of Cezar Azpilicueta and N’Golo Kante to sign new deals. Hazard has only 18 months remaining in his current deal and the Blues could opt to sell him rather than lose him for nothing.
Speaking to French radio station RMC, Hazard said, “There was a bit of talk [with Chelsea] but then it stopped, now we’re waiting.”
“The new coach [Sarri] thinks football like me. The family is in London, I’m also going to be 28. I do not want to have any regrets at the end of my career. It’s a decision I’m going to make, I do not know when, but I’ll take it.”
