Mourinho makes different comments on Pogba’s impact at Manchester

Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Paul Pogba will start against Valencia on Wednesday during the Champions League night.

Pogba sat out the win over Fulham where Mourinho deployed Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic in midfield. Pogba, Mourinho says, will show the world how good he is when he is featured at the Mestalla stadium against the La Liga side.

β€œHe has to play with the same mentality as the team is playing Paul can be a fantastic player, he has the potential to be a fantastic player. Against Valencia, he is going to start and have a fantastic football game to play and to show everybody how good he is.” Mourinho said.

Herrera and Matic also earned the gaffers praise for their performance at Old Trafford that saw them beat Fulham 4-1.

“You have teams that are positionally good, ready to press, and with a desire to press, and I think these two boys – Matic and Herrera – have a really strong mentality. The way they play football is to play at the top of their level and then the people in front of them were also good,” he added.

Man United and Juventus have already progressed in their group but a win will see the English side overtake the Old lady on the log.
