There are so many ways in which celebrations could go wrong. Not just the club or party kind of celebrations but any kind of celebrations could at some point land you in serious trouble.
Kenyans are always calm until they unleash their true colors during the festive season.
From election results, to the December celebrations and what also counts is after the National Examination results are out. Although some can afford being moderate, it is never the case to others.
Recently you must have seen or heard people in the street rejoicing and hitting drums to mark their achievements in the 2018 KCPE exams which were announced a couple days ago.
Many went to the extent of risking their lives in the name of these celebrations. Several schools are on the spot after their school buses were caught on a disturbing video of school bus flouting Michuki laws in KCPE celebrations.
Some of the youth who were part of the celebrating team hanged on the buses windows with their bodies partly outside of the moving bus.
Kenyans were angered by this saying that the traffic police for the past days had been seriously dealing with the Public Service Vehicles yet they failed to notice how these celebration which involved school buses posed a great danger.
This is a very shameful situation since some Kenyans believe that such celebrations are as a result of allowing the matatu culture, which the youth are learning from.
Concerned Kenyans noted that they witnessed a similar incident which they term as indiscipline. Shame to even the teachers who authorized such celebrations…
Some Kenyans have called upon the National Transport and Safety Authority and the police take immediate action. Have a look at the reactions.
@JBoinnet @AMB_A_Mohammed @FredMatiangi @ntsa_kenya Thought your officers are very busy dealing with PSV vehicles..What if such a bus rolled , how many lives could have been lost…Can you take action immediately
