Kibandaski, yes. Most people are quite familiar with the tales of Kibanda.

Actually it acts as a life saver to most people. Raise your hand if you have never eat at a Kibanda?

Most people who work at least have one of this spots where they go out to grab a meal at an affordable price. This is at a kibanda.

In Kenya most of the low class working people have always find solace at this local places that cook food that they can afford. Most of this local places have a variety of simple meals which are prepared for different people.

You can never miss these local joints near work places or where people usually meet for various businesses daily.

The kibandaski is used instead of the word hotel.

Most people have different tales about the experience from this places. Although some people are scared of the quality  of food and the style used in preparation of the food, some of this places actually make food that is actually fit for human consumption.

The misconception about the cleanliness of the local places the process of preparation of the food is slowly fading away as most people find this a savior to their  lives as they can grab good lunch at an affordable price.

Their initial states are now changing as some of those local places have decided to employ people who have idea in meal preparation and even catering.

With the current laws that guide both local and big hotels the local hotels are adjusting to fit the required standards set by the ministry of health in conjunction with Bora Afya.

Today Kenyans have taken to social media to celebrate the experience they have heard in those Kibandaski hotels. Most have given credit to how the food is well prepared and properly served. The day has been named a “Kibandaski Appreciation Day.”
