In a video clip that has gone viral on social media sites an Administration Police Constable Joash Ombati is seen cornering a white car in a not so busy road in Westlands, Nairobi, where he swiftly fires in the air before ordering the suspects out and making an arrest. This looks like a well scripted scene from a movie.

Police at Parklands Police Station in Nairobi are holding two robbery suspects who were dramatically arrested after a car chase by a lone administration police officer.
Joash Ombati, was on duty at the Westlands branch of NIC bank when he saw a man being thrown out of a vehicle by unknown persons.
Ombati who had no official police car at the time, hopped into a taxi and gave chase, eventually intercepting the robbers’ car within Westlands.

He fired eight rounds as he restrained the suspects from escaping and recovered Ksh. 400,000 that had been stolen from their victim Amos Charo.
Police say Charo had travelled from Voi to meet the two who claimed they would sell him cheap building materials.
The suspects identified as Sameer Abdulaziz Kassim and Peter Kavoi Musili are expected to be arraigned and charged with robbery with violence.
