In May, three Chinese were arrested after they were allegedly found with fake products worth millions of shillings.

They were identified as Emily Peng, Lee Liang and Josh Xhiu.

The three were apprehended at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre by officials from the Anti-Counterfeit Agency who had been alerted by exhibitors at the Oil & Gas International Trade Exhibition.

Immigration officials have arrested five Chinese nationals in Lavington, in Nairobi.

In a tweet on Friday, the immigration department said they have recovered items from the suspects believed to be a threat to National Security.

The four men and a lady were paraded by the Immigration officials in their offices.

On September 19, Immigration officers arrested 15 Chinese in a brothel in South C estate on grounds they have been engaging in prostitution.

The arrests elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans with some questioning how the lot got in the country in the first place.

On September 19, 12 Chinese nationals were arrested in South C estate, Nairobi County, for allegedly engaging in prostitution.

Director of Immigration Services Alexander Muteshi said they arrested eight girls and four men.

They were taken to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for processing and subsequent deportation.
