According to the latest details, the slain Monica Nyawira Kimani and her murder suspect Joseph Irungu were too close muual friends.
Her brother George Kimani revealed during her requiem mass held in Thika that the two have been mutual friends and there was a time Mr Irungu wanted to have an affair with Monica but she refused.
Kenyans on twitter have started questioning the incident where the prime suspect in the murder case got shot since he has a bullet wound.
