Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has cleared the air concerning Godfrey Walusimbi’s transfer fees.

Walusimbi left Gor for South African side Kaizer Chiefs in August but the club is yet to receive his transfer fee that’s believed to be between Kshs 7-12 million.

There have been contrasting reports concerning the money with some club officials claiming that the funds have been misappropriated coming at a time that the team has been on strike.

During a presser on Monday 24th August, Rachier clarified that the club is yet to receive any money from the South African club.

“Not a single Rand or penny has been paid by Kaizer Chiefs,” he said when queried.

The Ugandan star penned a three-year contract which will end on June 30 2021, to ditch the Kenyan champions last month. But despite both clubs reaching an agreement, Gor Mahia are now crying out that they are yet to receive transfer money from the South African club.
