The Gunner’s fans loved what England International forward Danny Welbeck said after the club’s Europa League win last night and gave him some very high praise.
Arsenal cruised to a 4-2 victory over Ukranian side Vorskla Poltava in their Group E Europa League opener at the Emirates Stadium.
Goals from the Englishman and Mesut Ozil added to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s brace, giving new manager Unai Emery a winning start to their European campaign.
Welbeck scored the north London side’s second goal three minutes into the second half with a pin-point header.
The victory saw the Gunners to their fourth win in a row after a tough start to the season saw them lose against Manchester City and Chelsea in the Premier League.
After the match, the 27-year-old appeared in a video on the club’s official Twitter channel showing his appreciation for the fans.
