“We wish Cameron a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the pitch soon.” Manchester United said in a short statement.

This comes almost a week after Luke Shaw suffered a similar head injury on an international duty when he collided with Danny Carvajal as Spain and England faced off in UEFA Nations League.

Shaw, as Jose Mourinho confirmed will start in the Champions League match against Young Boys in place of Ashley Young.

“They both are doing well, they both are different players, they both understand that one is a young player and the other one is the experienced one, and it’s good for us to have these two options,” Mourinho said.

Shaw missed United’s win at Watford but he was fine to start on medical viewpoint.
