David and Victoria Beckham are said to have been caught up in the recent Indonesia earthquake. The couple and their family, who have been spending time in the US over the summer, were said to have landed in the popular tourist destination on Saturday, the day of the quake. With their children, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, reportedly in tow, it has been claimed the family was 60 miles from the epicentre of the quake. ‘They certainly felt the earthquake,’ a source said. ‘The children, especially, were a little bit shaken but they are all fine. Their thoughts are obviously with the victims.’
The earthquake measured 7.0 magnitude has also affected other stars holidaying in the area, with Chrissy Teigen and Gary Barlow telling fans about their experience on the island. Gary wrote on Twitter: ‘Thank you for your concern – we’re all fine – a bit shaken up.’ While Chrissy live-Tweeted the aftershocks. The cookbook author even found time to throw in some humour – in the most Chrissy Teigen way – as she revealed that she stumbled outside with her baby saying, ‘I’m naked.
I’m naked. I’m naked.’ Tragically, however, 142 people are said to have died in the disaster after the quake hit the island of Lombok. People had been told to stay away from the sea over fears of a tsunami. Dwikorita Karnawati, head of the agency for meteorology, climatology and geophysics, told local TV: ‘Please go to a place with higher ground, while remaining calm and not panicking.’ While many were glued to their feeds to see Chrissy’s updates, she made sure everyone knew she was safe while later directing eyeballs to concentrate on those who were badly affected.
She said: ‘Another aftershock just now. probably the 8th one we have felt since the big one last night. we are safe, up high and nothing around us. thinking about everyone around us and in Lombok especially.’

Anyway, Harper, seven, showed no fear as she leapt from a high dive board in Los Angeles this week – and it was all captured for posterity by her proud father. Alongside big brother Romeo, 15, she clasped onto her sibling before letting go – the two going to their own posts on the end of the platform before dropping over the edge and into the blue water.

It comes after David, 43, revealed Harper had decided to lop her long locks off, after growing them out. While the doting father and former footballer had wished for his daughter to have long hair, she seemed pretty chuffed with the chop.
He posted an image of him cutting her hair with a comical frown, while Harper flashed a grin in the hairdresser’s chair. He captioned the image: ‘Someone’s happy & someone’s not so happy but I didn’t think it was possible for this little one to look anymore beautiful but [heart].’ Oh God, our hearts. David previously spoke of how he didn’t want to allow Harper to go for the chop.
