Arsenal, Tottenham & Chelsea do battle for £43m South American

Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea face fresh competition to sign Malcom as Fulham are preparing a shock swoop for the £43m-rated Bordeaux attacker. Malcom has developed in to one of the most sought-after players in Europe since joining Bordeaux from Corinthians in 2016 and the 21-year-old provided 12 goals and 8 assists last season to help the club secure a sixth-placed finish in Ligue 1. The South American youngster is tipped to become a senior international for Brazil having already represented his country at U23 level and his potential has also attracted strong interest from the Premier League in recent months.

The Sun reported last week that Tottenham were leading Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Malcom after opening preliminary talks with Bordeaux about a potential move to England this summer. Mauricio Pochettino is expected to be active in the market during the coming weeks and Malcom would give him another top class option in the final third if Tottenham were able to lure him to north London.

Arsenal are also being tipped to sign a wide attacker before the start of the new campaign having so-far focussed their efforts on strengthening their defence this summer and Malcom has long been linked with a move to the Emirates.
Chelsea are ready to press ahead with their summer transfer business after finally resolving their managerial situation and the report says Mauruzio Sarri has identified Malcom as a possible replacement for Eden Hazard after he cast doubt over his future at Stamford Bridge.

However, it seems the Premier League giants will face fresh competition as TeamTalk are citing a report from the Sun that claims Fulham are eyeing an ambitious swoop for the £43m-rated attacker while Inter Milan are also preparing an offer to lure Malcom to Italy.
