Blind’s departure could well be the catalyst for a Manchester United move for Leonardo Bonucci, who could be on his way out of AC Milan after just one season.
The italian club must raise £45m before the end of the transfer window due to the Uefa santions placed on them for breaking FFP regulations, and United believe that can capitalise on that to sign the 31-year-old defender.
It’s also reported that Bonucci himself is keen on the move.
