Good for Man United: Gareth Bale drops hint about future

Gareth Bale has spoken about his future, and noted that he might not stay at Real Madrid this summer. His future has been heavily questioned and is certainly up in the air – however after Cristiano Ronaldo left the club following yet another Champions League win, people thought that meant Bale would stay – however that’s not the case at all.

“I really don’t know [where I will be],” he said “I’m going to have to sit down and discuss it with my agent.

“Maybe I’ll be staying here [at Real Madrid], maybe not. We’ll sit down in the summer and hopefully resolve this issue.

”I was frustrated, I’ve said before, not to start the game. But I knew I was capable of being involved in the game and I was.

Of course, the departure of Ronaldo has left a huge hole at Real Madrid, especially in terms of goals – and Bale may well think that he could fill that gap. The chances of him being allowed to leave Real Madrid unless they of course make a huge money move for Neymar or Kylian Mbappe would be remote, however, as we’ve seen this summer already, anything can happen.
