Ronaldo to star in reality TV show?

Cristiano Ronaldo is allegedly in talks to star in a reality TV series. Social networking giant Facebook is hoping to make a documentary-style show about the Portugal striker’s life, according to Variety. The publication’s sources have claimed that Ronaldo will make around $10m if he agrees to appear in the 13-episode series. CAA is said to be packaging the series, with Matador Content and Religion of Sports on board to produce the show.Ronaldo, who is reportedly on the verge of leaving Real Madrid to sign for Juventus, is the most popular athlete on Facebook with more than 120 million followers.

Ronaldo’s proposed £88m move from Real Madrid to Juventus is said to be edging over the line.Juve chief executive Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici have received word from Spain that the deal is progressin. Ronaldo is reportedly keen to join the Old Lady for a “new experience”, and the report suggests that his agent Jorge Mendes is in ongoing talks with Real in the hope of brokering the deal.
The Portugal international’s former club Manchester United were rumoured to be plotting a bid for him at one point, but the latest reports indicate that they will not rival Juventus for his signature.Ronaldo has scored 450 goals in 438 appearances in all competitions and won two La Liga titles and four Champions League crowns during his nine-year stay at Real.
