Watford sign winger

Watford FC are delighted to have secured the permanent signing of Sweden international Ken Sema. The 24-year-old winger has agreed a five-year deal with the Hornets and arrives from Allsvenskan outfit Östersunds FK. Sema racked up 84 appearances during two-and-a-half years with the Swedish top-flight side, including 13 in the Europa League.

He scored an impressive winning goal in the 2-1 victory at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium back in February, and was part of the Östersunds FK side which lifted its first ever Svenska Cupen trophy in 2017. A senior international for Sweden, Sema also represented his country’s Under-23s at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.Having come through the ranks at hometown club IFK Norrköping, Sema spent time with IF Sylvia and Ljungskile SK before arriving at Östersunds FK in 2016.
