Watford agree £4m fee for West Brom keeper

Watford have agreed a £4 million fee for West Brom’s Ben Foster, according to reports. West Brom had an absolute nightmare 2017/18 season. The Baggies sacked Tony Pulis early on in the season and replaced him with ex-Newcastle boss Alan Pardew.

However, Pardew’s appointment proved to be deadly for West Brom. They would finish the season dead bottom of the Premier League in 20th place. They would also score just 31 goals in 38 league games. Pardew was sacked before the end of the season and Darren Moore put in charge for the remainder of the campaign.

Moore taking over at West Brom would prove to be a real success. While in charge of the Baggies Moore beat the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham and lost just once.Sadly, the damage had already been done and despite Moore’s best efforts, West Brom were relegated. As a result, a host of their top players are being linked with moves away with Ben Foster set to leave for Watford.
