Premier League outfit Watford have this afternoon confirmed the signature of defender Adam Masina from Bologna. Masina, a 24-year-old Moroccan-born Italian, had been on the books of Bologna for 17 years, having joined the club as a youngster in 2001.
And, since breaking into the club’s first-team setup in 2013, Masina since went on to establish himself as a mainstay in the Rossoblu’s first-choice XI, having racked up 99 Serie A appearances over the course of the last 3 seasons.
The versatile stopper, who generally lines out at left-back but can also play on the wing, is held in high regard in Italy, and had been linked with moves to the likes of Roma and Napoli in the past.
