Former Liverpool star Xabi Alonso has backed the clubs new midfielder Naby Keita to succeed at the club having played against him. Alonso made his name at Liverpool where he was instrumental in a midfield with Steven Gerrard.
The two struck up quite the partnership and took the Anfield side to Champions League glory in 2005.He soon left for Real Madrid and then Bayern Munich where he continued to rack up numerous titles.
There was one player who caught his eye in the Bundesliga though, and that was Naby Keita.
