AC Milan gets two years UEFA ban

AC Milan will face life outside of the Champions League and the Europa League for the next two years. The ban is set to cover two years, but one competition, meaning they could enter the 2019/20 Europa League.

The shocking news was broken by UEFA today, as they finally started to crack down on clubs who breach their FFP regulations. The governing body noted that the Serie A side have disrespected FFP and are now set to suffer the consequences of breaking that, and also the UEFA club licencing laws. It’s a huge blow to the Serie A side, and a far harsher punishment than was expected, with a fine and a one year ban mooted.
